JourneyLoop
About us

Built around the coach-client relationship.

An engineer who left corporate tech, and an executive coach who discovered his own blind spots. Eight years of friendship. Bootstrapped, small on purpose.

Marco Lamina

Founder & Engineering Lead

Marco Lamina is a San Francisco-based software engineer who left corporate tech to build human-centered AI that amplifies coaching relationships.

He created JourneyLoop because he saw a gap: coaches and clients wanted to work together between sessions, but had no shared space to do it. The best coaching happens when both people can see the journey clearly.

Marco combines deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision to create invisible technology that amplifies coaching relationships without adding complexity. Day to day, he writes the code, hosts the calls, and answers letters personally.

Michael Shehane is an executive coach and founder of InStride Leadership, where he’s coached leaders from Meta, Netflix, Airbnb, Stanford, and Genentech.

Michael discovered his own blind spots using AI analysis of his sessions. That revelation became JourneyLoop’s mission: help coaches see what they can’t see about their own practice.

He brings expertise in linguistics, organizational psychology, and intercultural communication, and ensures JourneyLoop technology serves real coaching relationships through strategic, human-centered design.
